Official Election Pamphlet The Official Election Pamphlet (OEP) is published for the General Election. The pamphlet contains information about candidates and issues appearing on the ballot. Candidates and recognized political parties must pay to appear in the OEP. The information submitted by candidates will be posted to the Election Pamphlets page and the Candidates page prior to a general election at which the candidate’s name appears on the ballot. Federal or State Candidates Your submission must be received by the Division of Elections no later than 5:00 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2024, for the November 5, 2024, General Election.If you are a candidate for federal office, a candidate for State Senate in Districts C, R, S or T or a candidate for State Representative in House Districts 05 or 36 – 40 and would like your statement translated into appropriate Alaska Native Languages, you must submit your materials no later than 5:00 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2024. Federal or State Candidate Checklist Judicial Retention Candidates Your submission must be received by the Division of Elections no later than 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2024 for the November 5, 2024, General Election.If you are a judicial retention candidate for Supreme Court, Court of Appeals or judicial districts 2, 3 or 4 and would like your statement translated into appropriate Alaska Native Languages, you must submit your materials no later than 5:00 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2024.
