States may count mail ballots that arrive after Election Day, the Supreme Court rules June 29, 2026Today the Supreme Court ruled in Watson v RNC that ballots voted by mail can still be counted if postmarked by Election Day but received after –timing is per state law (in MS, law says received within 5 days).
