Division of Elections responds to DOJ request August 5, 2025The Alaska Division of Elections, in collaboration with the Lieutenant Governor’s Office and the Department of Law, sent a response letter to the U.S. Department of Justice on August 4, 2025.This letter was sent in response to a request from the DOJ on July 2, 2025, seeking information about the state’s procedures for maintaining the statewide voter registration list in accordance with the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA).
