Polls open 8am to 8pm. Date is set as the first Tuesday in October each year. A new zero totals report is uploaded on Election Day to show the date of the election and that no results have been reported prior to the polls closing. 10/06/2026 Deadline for by-mail ballots to be postmarked. A defeated candidate or 10 qualified voters may file a recount application. The application must be filed within 5 days after the completion of the SRB. The recount will be held within five days.
