Your submission must be received by the Division of Elections no later than 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2022 for the November 8, 2022 General Election.
If you are a candidate for federal office, a candidate for State Senate in Districts C, S or T or a candidate for State Representative in House Districts 06, 37, 38, 39 or 40 and would like your statement translated into appropriate Alaska Native Languages, you must submit your materials no later than 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2022.
Your biographical and position statements must be typewritten and any words beyond the allotted word count will not be published.
Your submission must be received by the Division of Elections no later than 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2022 for the General Election.
You may file a maximum of two pages of materials. Each page must be clearly identified with the words "paid for by" followed by the name of the political party, name of the state chairperson of the party and the name of the party treasurer.
Electronic submission of your materials is preferred. Email your documents as an attachment to the Official Election Pamphlet staff.

Judicial Retention Candidates
Your submission must be received by the Division of Elections no later than 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 7, 2022 for the General Election.
If you are a judicial retention candidate for Supreme Court, Court of Appeals or judicial districts 2, 3 or 4 and would like your statement translated into appropriate Alaska Native Languages, you must submit your materials no later than 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2022.

Prior to each General Election, the Official Election Pamphlet (OEP) is distributed to all registered households in Alaska. The pamphlet contains information about candidates and issues appearing on the ballot. Candidates and recognized political parties must pay to appear in the OEP. The information submitted by candidates will be posted to the Division of Elections website prior to an election at which the candidate's name appears on the ballot.
