The Division of Elections consists of the Director's Office in Juneau and four regional offices in Juneau (Region I), Anchorage (Region II), Fairbanks (Region III), and Nome (Region IV) and the Absentee Voting Office in Anchorage.
The Director's Office is responsible for statewide matters; the regional offices, divided by election districts, are responsible for conducting elections and maintaining voter registration records for their specific districts. The Division's satellite offices provide the same services as the regional offices to voters in their districts. The Absentee Voting Office is responsible for all Absentee By-Mail and Absentee By-Fax voting issues.
