Other Election Workers

In addition to poll workers, the Division of Elections recruits several workers to assist with the conduct of elections in the following areas:

  • Early and Absentee Voting Official these workers serve at a voting station beginning 15 days prior to an election through Election Day and are paid $12 per hour.
  • Absentee Ballot Review Board these workers serve at a regional elections office beginning seven days prior to an election through approximately 15 days after an election reviewing and processing absentee ballots and are paid $12 per hour.
  • Questioned Ballot Review Board these workers serve at a regional elections office for approximately 15 days after an election reviewing and processing questioned ballots and are paid $12 per hour.
  • Absentee and Questioned Ballot Logger these workers serve at a regional elections office assisting with the data entry of absentee and questioned ballots and are paid $12.50 per hour.
  • Regional Accu-Vote Board these workers serve at a regional elections office before and after Election Day testing ballot counting equipment and counting ballots and are paid $25 per hour.
  • Accu-Vote Field Workers these workers serve on Election Day providing assistance to various polling places and are paid $12.50 per hour.
  • Election Night Workers these workers serve on Election Night at a regional elections office assisting with various activities such as receiving materials and answering telephones and are paid $10 per hour.
