Regional Educational Attendance Area (REAA) and Coastal Resource Service Area (CRSA) Election Information
CRSA Elections
The Alaska Coastal Management Program, as set forth in Chapter 31, SLA 2005 (SB 102), expired on July 1, 2011 per AS 44.66.030. Due to the expiration of the program, there will be no elections in 2012 for CRSA board seats.
REAA Election Day and Hours
- Annually on the first Tuesday in October.
- Polls are open Election Day from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
REAA Elections
A Regional Educational Attendance Area (REAA) is an educational area that is established in an unorganized borough of the state under AS 14.08.031(a). The REAA elections are held annually on the first Tuesday in October and are administered by the Division of Elections.
