STATEMENT:

It has been a pleasure serving District 24 during the past six years. As your voice in Juneau, I am committed to representing you the best that I can...through dedication, listening to your concerns and making difficult decisions in your interest.

I have in the past and will continue to seek ways that will reduce state spending which ultimately protects us all from new or increased taxes, while at the same time protects the Permanent Fund. I believe that it is still essential to reduce the size and scope of government where possible while still maintaining essential services.

As a strong proponent of economic development, I continue to seek ways that provide a healthy economy that renders good paying jobs for Alaskans. I have worked for and support:

Our state education system should be world-class. My efforts in the past to reduce class size and ensure state dollars are funneled to the classroom will continue. Also of importance to me is our University system which should seek to keep Alaskan students in state which will ultimately provide tomorrow's Alaskan workforce.

My service to you is unwavering and built upon an honest and ethical approach to government. With your continued support, we can work togesther to make government more accountable and efficient.
