STATEMENT:

It has been my honor and pleasure to serve the past three terms as your representative in District 18: the Hillside, Girdwood and Turnagain Arm. My top priorities this past session were to:

I am pleased to report success:
I am also proud to have helped restore funding to the General Relief Medical program, and expand Medicaid to cover Alaska's neediest children.

I believe a representative must, above all, strive to express the will of the majority of his constituents. We can best meet the challenges that we face in our district and our state when I hear and understand your desires clearly. I have therefore worked hard to improve communications with my constituents by increasing use of the Internet and toll-free phone service, plus regular phone, fax, mail and Public Opinion Messages.

My increasing experience as your legislator allows me to be even more effective in representing your interests and achieving your goals. I respectfully ask for your support once again in November, so I can continue to represent you in Juneau.
