STATEMENT:

Two years ago when I first ran for elective office I stated that teamwork and cooperation were the way to get things done in today's complex global economy. I ran on a platform of excellence in education, crime and public safety, healthy families and good jobs.

My record shows I delivered what I promised. Democrats and Republicans working together delivered $1.6 million to kickstart the Mountain View Community Recreation Center Project. I fought for fairness, equity and a commitment to excellence in the rewrite of the education foundation formula. The Russian Jack Community Patrol is now equipped with new communication gear because of my efforts. I strongly supported the Smart Start initiative and opposed the cuts to the General Relief Medical Program. I was a vocal advocate for a balanced approach to economic development including new legislation promoting the Natural Gas Pipeline.

I have gained experience working as your Representative. I make a commitment to do even better. A New Democrat working with you in a New Partnership to promote:

I've worked hard for the residents of Fairview, Mountain View and Russian Jack. Let me use what I've learned during my first term to get things done for you. I would appreciate your vote.
