If you wish to vote absentee by-mail for the Municipality of Anchorage Regular Election and the tentative Runoff Election you must contact the Municipality of Anchorage City Clerk's office. Absentee Voting By Fax

You may apply for an absentee by fax ballot beginning 15 days before election day through 5:00 p.m. Alaska Time the day before election day.

General Information and Application

The Division of Elections is not currently scheduled to conduct a state or federal primary, general election or special election in 2009.

The Division of Elections will be conducting the October 6th, 2009 Regional Educational Attendance Area and Costal Resource Service Area (REAA/CRSA) elections. These are school board and costal management elections for unincorporated areas of Alaska. Absentee by-fax voting is not available for REAA/CRSA elections.
