Updating Voter Registration Information
You must update your voter registration if you:
- change your name;
- change your residence and or mailing address; or
- wish to change your political affiliation.
The residence address you provide determines the issues and candidates for which you can vote However, you can receive your elections mail at any valid mailing location you choose. All elections-related materials will be sent to the mailing address you provide.
To update your voter registration, complete a Voter Registration Application legibly and accurately and submit it to the Division of Elections.
Once your application is processed, you will receive a new voter registration card in the mail. Please allow up to four weeks to receive your card.
