RUNOFF ELECTION
Information For Voters

ELECTION DAY: Tuesday, November 18, 2003

This election will be conducted by mail
Polling places will not be open on election day

Ballots will be counted Friday, 11/28/03
Unofficial results will be posted on the web site

Target certification date is Thursday, 12/4/03

Ballots will be mailed to all REAA #5, Section III voters on October 27, 2003. If you do not receive your ballot,or if your mailing address has changed, or you want your ballot mailed to another address, contact the Region III Elections Office at (907) 451-2835.

You will be voting for REAA #5 Kuspuk Regional School Board Candidates:

Bambi C. Hill or Sophie B. Gregory

When voting, follow the instructions included with your ballot. For your ballot to be counted, you must:
  1. Sign the return ballot envelope.
  2. Provide one identifier (such as your voter number, last four digits of your social security number or year of birth) on the return ballot envelope.
  3. Have your signature witnessed by two people over the age of 18 or an authorized official such as the postmaster or city clerk.
  4. Mail your voted ballot to the Division of Elections. To be counted, your ballot must be postmarked no later than Election Day, Tuesday, November 18, 2003.
MAKE SURE YOUR VOTE COUNTS!

To be counted, your ballot envelope must --
be signed by you, include one identifier, be witnessed and postmarked or
delivered to an election official on or before Tuesday, November 18, 2003.

If you need assistance or a new ballot (an erasure will void your ballot), an Election Official will be available in Aniak, November 3th through November 18th at the Kuspuk School District Offices from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

If you will be traveling within Alaska, Election Officials are also available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Juneau, Anchorage, Fairbanks and Nome Election Offices:
