Primary Election Date: August 27, 2002
As a result of a new law passed this year,
Alaska's 2002 primary election will be different
from any primary election ever held in the state.
There will be six ballots -
one for each recognized political party.
Each of the six political parties
may field candidates in the primary.
Voters will receive the ballot of ONE party:
To find out who your candidates are, find the political party you are eligible to vote and click on your district number.
If you are registered as undeclared, non-partisan, or other, you can vote any ONE of the six party ballots.
